Rate this productSwitching to "primal" the question is not so much what to eat. That's the easy part. More challenging is how to put it altogether without the process taking a year and a day. I have found this book to be quite helpful in that respect. Not being a very good cook, one merely follows the directions and in a jiffy, one has a good tasting primal meal.

As I begin my primal lifestyle, it's so nice to have quick and easy recipes with primal foods so I don't have to worry if what I'm cooking is primal or not. The recipes are basic and don't call for extravagant hard-to-find ingredients. I love the range of options of meals, snacks, and even sauces and rubs. After using this recipe book for 3 weeks, I have a good handle on what constitutes a primal diet.

Substitutions are easy to do with vegetables which is great if something isn't in season. Enjoy that the micronutrients profile is provided which means no more adding up calories.
