In the intro, this book talks about how if you keep doing all your same go-to recipes when you're in a hurry, you not only get bored, you also miss out on variation in nutrients. I haven't had a chance to make the recipes yet (just got the book a couple of days ago), but there are many I want to try. The photographs are great and there's one (three actually!) for every recipe, which is a feature I really appreciate in a cookbook. The descriptions really do sound easy and quick to make. I look forward to making this my bible for weeknight cooking!
Switching to "primal" the question is not so much what to eat. That's the easy part. More challenging is how to put it altogether without the process taking a year and a day. I have found this book to be quite helpful in that respect. Not being a very good cook, one merely follows the directions and in a jiffy, one has a good tasting primal meal.

Finally, a quick and easy cookbook that actually provides quick and easy recipes! As I begin my primal lifestyle, it's so nice to have quick and easy recipes with primal foods so I don't have to worry if what I'm cooking is primal or not. The recipes are basic and don't call for extravagant hard-to-find ingredients. I love the range of options of meals, snacks, and even sauces and rubs. After using this recipe book for 3 weeks, I have a good handle on what constitutes a primal diet.
